SHOW AND TELL:RICHMOND
We loved the University of Richmond's scenic campus, the high quality of food offered in the Heilman Dining Center, and the lively student center complete with spider gear, massage chairs and double height windows overlooking the lake. Students were very friendly and engaging , and were very happy to answer all our questions. After our tour, we explored quirky Carytown, just a short drive from campus, and visited the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. We checked into the Graduate Hotel downtown, had excellent drinks at Saison and crazy good chicken and dumplings at Pasture. In the morning we walked along the waterfront and stopped by the stirring Virginia War Memorial before having the most delicious savory breakfast breads and pastries at Sub Rosa.
